Through this project, I was able to pick any album cover that I have a connection with to redesign the album cover. I grew up watching and listening to this album it reminds me of my childhood. Listening and dancing to music at parties, radio, and YouTube.

Amor Probihido translates to Forbidden Love in English. In the approach of redesigning the album cover, the goal is to give a modern look while keeping the idea of writing someone a love letter. I used this concept to create the look of someone writing and signing off a love letter.

I drafted numerous logos to create my final design going through different typefaces that are legible and easy to understand. I also picked the color red to further emphasize the meaning of love and white to show innocence. Through the cover the word “Amor” in particular the “O” is shaped into a heart to further emphasize love. This all brings together the new look to the album cover redesign.
